Sisterhood Everlasting: A Novel (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants)– Ann Brashares

In middle school, my friends and I were obsessed with the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants books. We even went as far as copying the shared-clothing experience from the book (but with a Hanes t-shirt, instead of jeans). Imagine my surprise when I found out that there is a new book in the series, and it goes on sale today.

The series started in 2001, and was followed by three sequels. In 2005, the movie starring Alexis Bledel (Lena), America Ferrera (Carmen), Amber Tamblyn (Tibby), and Blake Lively (Bridgit) came out.

Now, ten years after that first book, the unexpected fifth book is here. What’s even more unexpected is that one of the main characters will die.
